Ok in the movie twilight does edward ever say he loves her besides the lion lamb thing?

i was just wondering cause the book they seem really lovey dovey and in the movie not so much. they act more like friends with benefits

They had to cut out so much of the lines in the book. Seriously, they just took the most cheesy lines, like “the lion fell in love with the lamb” and “you are my personal brand of heroin” and made it a script.

He doesn’t say “I love you” specifically. He likes to be more poetic. He says the lion/lamb thing and “you are my life now” and “you are my bella”, “look after my heart” and stuff like that.
